Kenilworth II — Spalted Maple, Zebrawood & Spalted Birch | Segmented

This one is genuinely unlike anything else on the table.

The body is turned from a spectacular piece of spalted maple that's taken on the most incredible forest-floor green — deep, mossy, and richly textured with the fine swirling figuring that spalted timber does so beautifully. It's the kind of colour you'd expect to find in a gemstone rather than a piece of wood, and it catches the light with a quiet, almost velvety intensity.

But then there's the cap, and that's where things get really interesting. Rather than a single material, this Kenilworth II features a hand-crafted segmented cap — three distinct timbers stacked and turned as one. At the top, pale and dramatically figured spalted birch, its ghostly grey spalt lines mapping the wood like contour lines on an ancient map. In the middle, a bold band of zebrawood with those unmistakable dark chocolate stripes cutting across the grain. And at the base of the cap, the green spalted maple returns to tie the whole composition together.

Getting three timbers to work in perfect harmony like this — balanced, seamless, elegant — takes time at the lathe. The warm gold fittings and black accent rings frame it all without a note out of place.

This is a pen for someone who wants something genuinely one-of-a-kind. And when we say that here, we really mean it — this combination will never be repeated.

Entirely handcrafted. Entirely unique. Entirely yours.
