Welcome to My Journey

After countless conversations that started with “You should really share your adventures!” and ended with me scribbling notes on napkins, I’ve finally caved to popular demand. Consider this my digital campfire where I’ll be sharing tales from the road, hidden gems I’ve stumbled upon, and the occasional gear obsession that’s caught my eye.

Think of this space as your backstage pass to my wanderings—the unfiltered highlights, the “wish I’d known that sooner” moments, and those serendipitous discoveries that make every trip memorable. Beyond the travel stories, I’ll be diving into recommendations that have genuinely earned their place in my arsenal, plus honest reviews of the products that either saved the day or left me wondering why I bothered.

Ready to tag along virtually? Hit that follow button on Facebook (you’ll find the link dancing at the top of the page) to catch every new adventure as it unfolds. Your comments and feedback aren’t just welcome—they’re the fuel that keeps this storytelling engine running.

Let’s explore together.

As a landscape photographer, I'm always drawn to places where the natural and built environments create something greater than the sum of their parts. The Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias promised exactly that.

Chasing Magic in the Rain: A May Morning at Puzzlewood

The forecast had promised showers, but as any landscape photographer knows, overcast skies and gentle rain often create the most enchanting conditions. So when I set out for Puzzlewood in the Forest of Dean on a drizzly May morning, my camera bag packed with rain covers and high hopes, I knew I was in for something special.

Puzzlewood has long been on my photography bucket list. This ancient woodland, with its twisted moss-covered rocks and mysterious pathways, has served as a filming location for everything from Doctor Who to Star Wars. But no amount of screen time can prepare you for the otherworldly atmosphere when you step onto those winding wooden walkways yourself.
