Slovenia “missed” Opportunities
Posted on 28/1/25
It was of course a play on words and at the time I smiled as, sadly, the weather was very poor in as much as it rained a considerable amount of the time. It was also, to be fair, very unseasonably with warm conditions keeping all but the very high altitude snow away. You have to feel sorry for the normally thriving sky industry as they had to make do with a few very small man made ski slopes.
However thinking about this afterwards during processing I realised the “missed opportunities" were in fact mist opportunities and I felt the results were interesting with some great atmospheric conditions. Some of these are shown below and I enjoyed the few hours taken watching them move and develop new scenes.
See what you think?

New York Through the Viewfinder: Manhattan from Every Angle
New York doesn’t ease you in gently. It hits you the moment you step out of JFK — the noise, the scale, the sheer relentless energy of it all. This was my latest chapter with the Hasselblad, and the city gave me everything: blazing sunshine, biting cold, driving rain, and even a fleeting dusting of snow. Seven days. Countless frames. One extraordinary city.
