Welcome to Capture a Moment
If you have visited before, you will notice the new larger set of Galleries, a blog and a lot more information about me, the techniques I use and the story behind some of the images I have taken. If this is your first time to the site, I hope you enjoy taking a moment out of your day to flick through some of the images I have taken. Thanks for visiting.

Popular Image of the Month

Happisburgh Beach
I get inspiration from a number of sources including friends and professional photographers such as Lee Frost and Joe Cornish.
I find the location leads me down routes and styles I have never tried before. A desolate beach can leave me looking for patterns and reflections.
The weather also plays a huge part and a stormy sky can lead to all sorts of images and fog can plays wonders on the landscape.
However a single quote justified the use of digital manipulation, where appropriate, to my work and this plays an important role in my processes.
"You don't take a photograph, you make it"
Ansel Adams

Check out my brief guide in the articles page to Happisburgh Beach after a visit there to capture the sunrise on the East coast of Norfolk.
The history surrounding the location is amazing and very sad.
